Probability by surprise This web site contains a collection of Java applets which illustrate various aspects of probability theory. There are also lecture summaries and class notes used for introducing undergraduates to the principles of probability. Maths4Life The Maths4Life Consortium aims to encourage effective numeracy and mathematics literacy education programmes for adults across the UK. This is to be achieved through a series of development and "Pathfinder" projects. Mathnerds This is an online enquiry service for mathematics students of all levels (from elementary to undergraduate), provided by a network of teachers, academics and experts from schools, colleges, universities and industry across the United States. K-12 education curriculum Developed for high school students and those entering higher education, this website offers an online library of "real world learning objects" (RWLOs). Hyperstat online textbook This is the online version of an introductory textbook on statistics which includes hypertext links within the text to a glossary of terms. Introduction to probability The revisied edition of this introductory textbook published by the American Mathematics Society has been made freely available on the internet in pdf format, requiring Adobe Acrobat Reader software.
