Interesting article.

The idea of framing learning in both knowledge creation and (ontological) development is great. One question is to what extent knowledge creation goes beyond just 'epistemological enculturation' - from what I know of Knowledge Forum, it is entirely possible to go beyond the enculturation, but there it does require some work to be done there - it is not 'automatic'.

The other question is whether the ontological development is somehow confined in this process to development as-a-knowledge-creator, or whether this goes beyond that to the application of knowledge, and the broader communities (beyond communities of inquiry) that that would involve.
